My Approach

Speech and language skills are most naturally learned in the context of play and conversation. Sessions are geared to create real connection and make encounters fun and meaningful. Clients (or their guardians) choose what is important to them and sessions  are based on a collaboration of goals and the most prominent concerns.

Speech services including but not limited to the following; articulation therapy, phonological delay, language disorders,  fluency enhancing therapy (stuttering/cluttering), voice, accent reduction, AAC.

Evaluations

Evaluations for stuttering, articulation, phonological delay, language, dysphagia, AAC  and cognition will typically be scheduled face-to face and usually are between 60 to 90 minutes.

In person sessions

Virtual sessions

We live in a world where making it to an office building in person is not always possible. If you need to schedule a virtual appointment it is available and HIPPA compliant.

Experience

I have 17 years experience in the field of speech language pathology. I have worked in the following settings: home health, nursing home, rehab, inpatient, outpatient settings, as well as in the school. I am now excited to share my expertise and provide services as a private practice. My greatest areas of interest are in aphasia, apraxia, stuttering/cluttering, phonology/articulation, AAC, language disorders, dysphagia, voice, and accent reduction. 

Currently hours are flexible and work to fit therapy into your lifestyle and time availability.
